A key point – Travis Allen’s rally only drew a few hundred people.

A second key point – Travis Allen is dead last in fundraising

Then the remainder of the article was about Travis Allen, Gavin Newsome and Antonio Villariagosa’s #METOO issues.

If you watch the video clip with an open mind, there is no way you could ask for worse coverage. The TV station gave Travis Allen far more than soundbytes in their coverage, making it pretty difficult to claim that it was edited down too far. The quote from a Travis Allen supporter, though she was trying to help only re-emphasized the documented sexual harassment issues he has.

Then there was another story on another channel that focused on Travis Allen’s contributions to democrats:

Cox is also blasting Allen for previously supporting Democrats “with a long history of giving contributions and supporting Democrats like Gavin Newsom, Barbara Boxer and Jerry Brown,” said Tim Rosales, Cox’s campaign manager.

Allen admitted to contributing money to California Democrats.

“Actually, this is very true,” he said. “When I was a business owner — and I still am, I own an investment advisory firm and I’ve been running my company since 2001 — I went to a number of events at the request of clients and friends. And this is what started my political career because I listened to those Democrats.”

Got it? All it took was his Uncle, former OC Dem Party Chair Frank Barbaro to get him to write out fat checks to democrats. The rest is a spin fail.

Lastly, both stories make clear reference that Travis Allen is claiming the bi-partisan investigation in to his sexual harassment issues was all some sort of democrat smear campaign. Not a good optic for the California electorate.

Somehow, Travis Allen took what should have been a positive and let it get completely turned around on him! #EPICFAIL.

(P.S. I guess this event didn’t work out so well for Mr. Allen who is dead last in fundraising)

Travis Allen’s nascent campaign for Governor was mortally wounded today.

Added to the laundry list of issues is the fatal wound – Travis Allen stands alone on the #METOO list as the only Republican Member of the Assembly to qualify for the honor.

Cases released to the news media on Friday, more than three months after requests for the public records, were for instances in which discipline was imposed or allegations against elected officials or their employees was deemed well-founded.

▪ In 2013, a staff member complained that Allen had seemed to “make a practice of being unnecessarily close to her” and it made her uncomfortable. She described a briefing where they sat next to each other and he slid his foot over to touch hers, and an another incident in which he came up behind her in the cafeteria and squeezed her shoulders. She said she heard from another woman in the office that when she shook hands with Allen, he held onto her hand and “petted it.”

Jon Waldie, former chief administrator of the Assembly, spoke to Allen after the complaint was filed and “reminded him to be very conscious of his conduct.” He said Allen “could not recall a time when he might have been too familiar with staff,” but did remember two women being overly friendly with him at an event outside of work.

Got it – Travis Allen’s response? It was their fault. Travis Allen is going to have way too much explaining to do to all but the most unreachable. It is probably too large a list off issues to have to explain in order to save his campaign that is $207,000 in the hole.

Let’s be overly friendly with the list of issues Travis Allen has.

Two verified sexual misconduct complaints

Two Assembly Campaigns in the hole a combined $88,000

A Governor Campaign in the hole $207,000

$42,000 in tax liens

A nice list of donations to democrats:

His donations started in August 2010, when he gave $100 to Newsom’s campaign for lieutenant governor. Newsom is now one of his rivals in the 2018 governor’s race. Allen, who lives in Huntington Beach, also gave $250 to the Democratic Party of Orange County’s federal political action committee.

In October 2010, Allen gave $250 to California Sen. Barbara Boxer, $250 to the state Democratic Party and $1,000 to Brown. The donation to Brown was made in the name of the financial planning firm Allen owns, Wealth Strategies Group. All of the other contributions to Democrats were made in his own name.

Allen also gave $250 to “4 for Senate Victory,” a committee that supported Democratic U.S. senators and Senate candidates, in October 2010 — although it’s unclear whether that was a separate donation from the $250 he gave to Boxer. The committee bankrolled candidates like Boxer, Michael Bennet of Colorado and Richard Blumenthal of Connecticut.

Finally, in June 2011, Allen donated $500 to the campaign of Rep. Brad Sherman, D-Sherman Oaks, who made headlines this year for becoming the first member of Congress to introduce articles of impeachment against Trump.

In addition, Travis Allen has missed over 500 votes in the State Legislature, including skipping voting on the lead ammo ban and subsequent accolades from the Humane Society.

Lastly, Travis Allen is getting hammered almost daily by the California Pro-Life Council over his Pro-Choice record as a legislator.

Some Conservative.

Travis Allen has issued some weak responses including explaining away his financial largess to democrats as “Buying Event Tickets” and being “Before he was in office”. Well, the sexual misconduct explanation is outrageous and the behavior happened once he was in office, just like the tax liens. Now his governor campaign is running on fumes and those fumes just caught fire. It is time for Travis Allen to go home for the good of California.

What’s next? Taking a gun onto an airplane? #NOTMAGA #EPICFAIL

Feb 012018

Travis Allen would have you believe he is the premier conservative in the race for governor. We’ve seen that he does not pay his bills, garnering some $42,000+ in Tax Liens.

Travis Allen is carrying debt from his 2012 Assembly run, still, 6 years later. Try $13,091 in debt. Who is still waiting on payment? <<< Click the hyperlink for the Secretary of State’s Report

Travis Allen is carrying massive debt from his 2018 Assembly Campaign account – showing $82,520 in debt against a meager $7400 in cash, a deficit of $75K

He starts $88,000 in the hole unless he has no intention of paying his bills.

Then we have this gem from the Los Angeles Times:

Cox’s cash on hand puts him far ahead of GOP rival Travis Allen, who entered 2018 more than $200,000 in debt. The other top Republican in the race, former Rep. Doug Ose, won’t have to disclose finances until the spring because he entered the contest only this month.

He reported raising $518,446 in 2017, on top of the $3 million the Rancho Santa Fe businessman donated to his campaign.

Travis Allen used his failed gas tax measure to raise $368K, not bad until you look at his report. Since many of his supporters think the LA Times made the numbers up, similar to the above links to data straight off of the actual filings, here we are again with a copy of the actual report. WHOOPS. 135,585 in cash, and 342,850 in the hole. For those of you scoring at home that pretty close to $207,000 in the hole.

What is $207K + 95k? 302K. This is called a financial train-wreck and anyone working for him or doing business with him should take serious pause.

The reality is that Mr. Allen has left the two old accounts open, one for 6 years as he has neglected or intended to not pay back the debts in either of them. The fact that his governor account is in the hole $200K when Mr. Cox is sitting on $2MM begs the obvious question – is facebook the only place Travis Allen will be campaigning? Will he get invited to future debates where he can try to earn media by fighting with the moderator? That’s it, Facebook and making bombastic moves at pubic forums appear to the the Travis Allen strategy as it does not appear he can afford the slate mail cards he alleges to have put deposits in on.

When you add to this that Travis Allen has a horrific attendance record to the legislature, missing large numbers of important votes over the years – the tax liens, the campaign debt and the lackadaisical attendance to the job he got elected to and paid for suggest a man who is neither a conservative by life choices nor ready for the Governor’s office.

When you are out of creative ideas and your ego is personally bruised, you send emails demanding your opponent drop out of the race. When you have excellent ideas, energy and resources, you respond with stuff like this.

Travis Allen will probably be better served going back to blocking people on social media.

Worse, he may need to tell his crew that the illuminati did not make up my screenshot of being blocked. (It is going to be an entertaining 5 months for sure…)

Now back to the order of the day:

(The issue is – what happened to the money…)

Request for Autopsy Report

Office of the Political Coroner

January 14, 2018

To whom it may concern,

On January 8, 2018, the Join Travis Allen to Repeal the Gas Tax Ballot Measure Committee passed away of lethal lack of momentum in Huntington Beach, California as noted in the obituary published two days ago.

At yesterday’s USC gubernatorial debate, Travis Allen remarkably criticized Mr. John Cox for contributing $250,000 into the real effort to repeal the gas tax, while Travis Allen only siphoned $87,188 out of donors and didn’t submit a single signature by the January 8, 2018 deadline.

The purpose of this letter is to formally request the official autopsy report. As you know, these reports are essential in the completion of a thorough and accurate cause of death investigation and confirm there was no foul play.

In comments to the The San Jose Mercury News, Travis Allen promised to give the money collected to the real campaign led by a coalition including John Cox, Carl DeMaio and several others. While the chance of that occurring may be zero, voters request to know how Travis Allen spent that money, how much is left, how many signatures were ever collected and when it will be transferred to the successful effort to repeal the gas tax.

Just nine days before Travis Allen failed to submit a single signature he sent out the following  misleading fundraising email:

Voters deserve to know the truth and donors deserve to know what Travis Allen did with their money.

Man, it sucks to be Travis Allen.

Travis Allen has had a bad week. His garbage Gas Tax initiative failed to even return a single signature.

In a face-saving move, Mr. Allen has attempted to indicate that he is “Joining” the Carl DiMaio / Howard Jarvis effort to overturn the Gas Tax.

While Travis is claiming to have “Won” the USC Debate on Saturday, the truth is he was booed more frequently than a bad act at the $1.98 beauty show.

Travis Allen got owned bad and since then has been on tilt using democrat talking points to attack John Cox. Just how bad did Travis Allen get owned?

. goes after other Republican in the CA Governor race “I want to give my young and immature compatriot a little lesson here.”

Man, it sucks to be Travis Allen. Daddy took him out behind the woodshed.

Not to be outdone, the John Cox campaign has trolled the youngster (who wears Jeans and no Tie when all others are in a suit for a debate) with an epic campaign email:

Obituary
The Join Travis Allen to Repeal the Gas Tax Ballot MeasureCommittee passed away quietly in its sleep at 11:59 p.m. on January 8, 2018 after submitting zeroof the required 365,880 signatures.

Born on May 4, 2017, the “effort” was primarily used to justify Assemblyman Travis Allen’s smoke-and-mirrors campaign for Governor. It will be best remembered for deceptively collecting $87,188 from innocent, well-intended donors that just wanted a more affordable California, but Travis Allen just made it cost more of their hard-earned money.

Its passing generated the attention of news outlets throughout California.

The Sacramento Bee:Gas tax repeal appears headed for failure – but voters may get another shot
The San Jose Mercury News:Gas tax repeal sponsored by Assemblyman Travis Allen fails to qualify, but another effort could reach the ballot
The Los Angeles Times:Assemblyman Travis Allen fails to qualify initiative to repeal gas tax, will support campaign for similar measure

Travis Allen’s “effort” is survived by the Stop The Car Tax initiative, which is chaired by John Cox and supported by Carl Demaio, Howard Jarvis Taxpayers, Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy, and most members of the California Republican Congressional Delegation. The legitimate effort chaired by John Cox has already collected over 400,000 signatures and has until May 21, 2018 to submit the minimum 585,000.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to StopTheCarTax.org if you want to contribute to a real effort to repeal California’s regressive gas and car tax.

Carl DiMaio got in to the act, excoriating the Sacramento Bee – and highlighting how Allen’s self-serving effort hurt all Californians. While Allen was siphoning off much-needed resources from the real effort to overturn the Gas Tax (and volunteers), his duplicate and competing effort was causing confusion. DiMaio did not mince words for Travis Allen either:

Aaron-

I have heard from some of our supporters that they are disturbed about a very confusing story in the Sacramento Bee today with a grossly-flawed headline “Gas Tax Repeal Initiative Fails.” THIS HEADLINE IS DEAD WRONG. The SacBee supports the gas tax hike, and we believe they ran an intentionally misleading headline to dupe voters into not returning the signatures they may still have.

If you read the story, you realize that they are not even talking about our Gas Tax Repeal Initiative. The story is all about Travis Allen’s fake gas tax petition and how he failed to submit even a single signature for his effort. Let me be clear: Travis Allen’s failed effort has had nothing to do with our broad-based coalition.

The REAL Gas Tax Repeal Initiative has collected over 400k signatures in record time, and we are well on our way to the 584k signatures we need! We are collecting signatures at a record-breaking pace.

Please continue to do the AMAZING work you are doing to get and return signatures on this petition. Even as the article concedes, we are well on our way to winning this thing!

Help us SUCCEED with qualifying and passing the REAL Gas Tax Repeal Initiative by contributing today

But wait – there’s more! Travis Allen’s crew created a page to highlight all their trolls that had been blocked off of John Cox social media. Embedded in this post, you will see that Mr. Allen’s glass jaw got the best of him 5 months before election day and I was blocked. If Travis Allen can’t handle Aaron F Park, how can he handle governing California? Perhaps he should tell his crew that having an I’ve been blocked by page up while they are blocking people makes them look ridiculous.

It really sucks to be Travis Allen. He should call Tyler Diep and tell him he is running for re-election to AD72. Tyler Diep should tell Travis Allen to retire. Heck, I might shake young Tyler’s hand if he did that…

That’s right, it is a fraud. A dirty secret about Travis Allen’s Gas Tax initiative is that the statutory deadline to gather signatures expires on 1/8/2018.

ON 12/31 – he sent out an email asking for money. This is dishonest at best. The text of the email follows (The biggest lie is emboldened):

Dear: (sucker)

Just like you, I’m looking forward to 2018 . . . for the most part.

However, there is one thing I am dreading: the increase in vehicle registration fees that kicks in January 1 thanks to the $52 billion gas tax bill the Democrats forced on us.

Thankfully, 2018 is the year we can repeal this obscene tax, but first I need your help finishing out 2017 strong.

Before midnight on New Year’s Eve, we must raise another $10,000 to help us gather hundreds of thousands of signatures and put our repeal on the ballot next year.

In order to save yourself from incurring thousands of dollars in unnecessary taxes and fees for the next 10 years, please chip in just $25, $50, or even $100 or more to help us hit our year-end goal.

Remember, we must hit our goal before midnight New Year’s Eve, or else we could be stuck with these taxes and fees for 10 years or more!

Thank you for helping us fight back against the Democrats’ latest tax scheme!

Sincerely,
Assemblyman Travis Allen

Why is Travis Allen raising money for something that he knows is going to fail to even get on the ballot? (This reminds me of Karen England ripping off the legitimate Prop 8 Effort many years ago when the Capitol Resource Institute ran a signature initiative) He is asking for $10,000 to help get hundreds of thousands of signatures, which should have people screaming BS by itself aside from the fact that not a single signature has been gathered by Travis or his crew for his initiative… and the clock runs out on 1/8/2018, but SEND YO MONAAAAY!

Why did Travis Allen persist in pushing this initiative when there was another Gas Tax Repeal initiative in circulation? Was he trying to sabotage the effort? The Howard Jarvis Backed Initiative is rocking and rolling, gaining tens of thousands of signatures.

The truth is that all of the money that Travis Allen is raising off of this fake Gas Tax Repeal can be swept in to his governor campaign. While this is legal, it is deceptive and unethical.

Travis Allen’s keyboard commandos will try and dismiss this, similar to Mr. Allen’s Pro-Choice record, horrendous attendance record, record of questionable votes in the legislature, donations to Barbara Boxer, Jerry Brown and his tax liens. It is just fitting that a fraudulent campaign is marked by fraudulent fundraising. Travis Allen should have stayed in the Assembly.

Click here to hear a great podcast on this issue. Look up The Chris Daniel Show: Jim Verros and the Observer 17 near the top of the list (as of 1/4/2018).

Did you know that Travis Allen is Pro-Choice? Yet his minions would have you believe that John Cox is a “RINO” part of the GOP Establishment. Yes, the same John Cox that was on Jack Kemp’s steering committee. (Most of Travis’ supporters will need to google Jack Kemp to realize that he was Ronald Reagan’s Conscience who kept Reagan Conservative)

Mr. Allen has a pattern of activity that will tell the truth about how opportunistic he is. Mr. Allen’s sudden turn to the right started in about 2015 when it became clear he needed to reinvent himself from the man who had several prominent liberal GOP Donors on speed Dial in order to mount a campaign statewide as a Republican.

If you are a social liberal, with rare exception, you are also very likely to be susceptible to government expanding tax increases. The democrats never go after Conservatives for the few votes they need to pass major legislation. This is a key theme to remember as Travis Allen’s supporters are already equivocating and trying preemptively to defend his record against the scrutiny they know is coming.

There is a second issue as it pertains to the Two Travis Allen’s you will get to know. Which one will govern? Will it be the moderate that got elected in 2012 or will it be the Conservative he is claiming to be in 2018? One thing has been a common theme for the duration: showing up late to events dressed in surfer gear when the rest of the candidates are early or on time dressed in Suits and Ties. (This recurred at a recent candidates forum in San Diego featuring all the democrats and Republicans polling above 3%)

So why did the California Pro-Life Council endorse John Cox over the alleged Arch-Conservative Travis Allen?

According to California ProLife scorecards and voting records, the other Republican candidate for Governor, Travis Allen, has a record of supporting abortion, and has been unwilling to uphold the Republican Party plank on Life.

Wait a minute!? I thought Travis Allen’s core supporters were those I fought alongside with to stop the liburalz from gutting the California GOP Platform?

For a recent example – on 1/20/2016 the Assembly passed a resolution Honoring Infanticide Abortion.

On Tuesday, the resolution passed the Assembly by a vote of 53-22, with four Members not recording a vote. During the floor debate before the vote, Assembly Members Shannon Grove, Jim Patterson, Marie Waldron and James Gallagher each gave spirited interventions in opposition to the resolution. Republicans Catharine Baker, Ling Ling Chang, and Brian Maienschein broke with their party to vote in favor of the proposal, while three Republicans had no votes recorded (Travis Allen, Kristin Olsen and David Hadley). Not a single Democrat opposed the resolution.

So, Travis Allen was counted with #NEVERTRUMPERS Kristen Olsen and David Hadley hiding from the resolution. Meantime, conservative warriors like Shannon Grove and James Gallagher were on the floor fighting. This is what should concern every Travis Allen apologist out there.

In the 2013 political cycle, Travis Allen was rated 47% by California Pro-Life Council (lower than some democrats) and 60% in 2015. Last I checked, when an abortion happens, the baby is 100% dead, so I am not sure how 47% or 60% is anything to be proud of.

Travis Allen and his supporters are deign to point out that John Cox is from Illinois (former Cook County GOP Chairman), as Ronald Reagan and Pete Wilson were both from Illinois. FYI: George Deukmejian is from New York and Jerry Brown is the ONLY Gov in the last 50 years from CA. At the same time they conveniently ignore things that are public record, such as this gem from 2007. You see, long before Travis Allen donated to democrats or ran to the left of Troy Edgar to win election in 2012, John Cox was getting attacked for being a social conservative.

My favorite find from ontheissues is this one:

Born poor on Chicago’s South Side to a mother who was raped by a father who split shortly thereafter (he points to his very existence as the reason he’s adamantly against abortion), Cox is a self-made man.

Oh no, there goes all the narratives in a big fat wave of reality. I should be real with Team Travis and tell them it only took a few minutes of surfing to find out the truth. Perhaps Travis Allen would be better served returning to his liberal roots for the sake of honesty as no amount of memes and facebook posts can alter the proven record.

Meet Laura Smith, candidate for Governor. Apparently, Laura is ready to burn Travis Allen’s House down. To her credit, she has properly identified Travis Allen for the fraud he is (from her Facebook Group):

If you are in this group attempting to promote a RINO such as Travis, you will be removed immediately. We do NOT support RINO’s. I will not support any candidate that blows smoke up people’s asses to gain their vote, hence the “farting sea shells” comment I make regularly about that scammer, Travis, and nor will I support any candidate who is NOT serious about this Governorship. Travis is running for TWO offices at this time and I printed the EVIDENCE! He does NOT care about YOU the citizen, nor is he authentic like I am. He is in this ONLY for the paycheck. Well, buddy, you must not have gotten the MEMO because when I am Governor, I am CUTTING ALL the career politicians’ paychecks by 50% AND sending the corrupt politicians off to prison for money laundering and embezzlement of the taxpayers money!!! I am not dropping out because people think they can pressure me to do so, and I will run this race as it is meant to be run – a long and fighting one!

If this woman had money to fund her campaign, it might make national news. Just watching Travis Suave squirm would be worth the price of admission.

Meanwhile, the largest county Republican Party in America is having an open forum for all Republican Governor Candidates to attend. Travis Allen just bailed out on it and hid.

Is Travis Allen afraid of the woman who mocks his Rico Suave lifestyle? It is obvious that she does not believe the recent poll that was done by USC with the assistance of Antonio Villariagosa staffer Mike Madrid (and other USC Alum with personal axes to grind) that shows Mr. Allen in 3rd Place behind Villariagosa and Newsom.

Laura Smith, undaunted by the army of facebook keyboard commandos recruited by the alleged CA4TRUMP team (that did not interview Laura smith or any other CA GOV Candidate before endorsing Allen), lit in to them again.

I left the Make California RED Again group, which WAS my originally coined term back before President Trump was elected. After being removed as Moderator, by Michael M. Dredd because he was afraid no one would like him anymore…oh boo hoo!!! Get a effing safety pin for your diaper dude! I have no need to be in a group that SUPPORTS TRAVIS ALLEN and CRIES like BABIES when Travis’ farting groupies get bent out of shape because I was a moderator of the group. I NEVER ONCE deleted posts or comments from that group, never an abuse of “power” – I do it here because I do NOT support FRAUDS like Travis or his groupies. So, if you support Travis, GTFO.

Laura unloaded again just yesterday:

So, I have been suggested that I need to “grow up” because I say Travis farts sea shells and his groupies are stuck to his ass blowing sand dollars! LMFAO!!! Here’s another one for ya…TELL THAT TO PRESIDENT TRUMP, who you all voted for. NEITHER Trump, NOR myself will EVER stop saying whatever we want!!! We’ll tweet it to high hell and back again!!! I am similar to Trump, I want the SEWER drained in Sacramento, and I will FIGHT to the end…KMWA.

If I get a chance to meet Laura Smith, I will probably give her a hug. Travis Allen has never really dealt with getting hammered in a campaign before. If running away from Laura Smith and the LAGOP is the way he handles conflict, he will fold like a cheap lawnchair and all the polls created by USC Alum won’t save him.

Nov 082017

Travis Allen knows Dog Whistle Politics. However, now that the Dog Whistle has lit him up, Travis Allen is calling those with issues over his verified personal history “democrat plants”.

The San Jose Mercury News lit Travis Allen up for his history of contributions to democrats:

…in June 2011, Allen donated $500 to the campaign of Rep. Brad Sherman, D-Sherman Oaks, who made headlines this year for becoming the first member of Congress to introduce articles of impeachment against Trump.

Whoops, that’s not going to Make California Great Again.

In 2012, when he ran for Assembly, he was the squish in the Primary. No one I knew endorsed him in Orange County.

Jon Fleischman wrote a nice piece in 2012 about Travis Allen’s donations. Say what you want, Jon Fleischman is an unassailable Conservative.

On the state side Allen gave donations to ACT Blue (a Dem PAC), Gavin Newsom for Lt. Governor, the California Democrat Party, and my personal favorite — his company gave $1,000 to the election of Jerry Brown for Governor one month before the 2010 election.

On the federal side Allen gave to the Democrat Party of Orange County (the same amount as he gave to the OC GOP, actually – some parity), the 4 Senate Victory Fund (which in turn made contributions to top Dem U.S. Senate targets, like Al Franken!), Brad Sherman for Congress, and (good grief) a check to help the re-election of Senator Barbara Boxer.

So, Travis Allen – was Jon Fleischman a democrat plant in 2012? Or will you man up and admit to the MAGA people you are deceiving that you are a liberal that registered Republican because of the area you ran in? Perhaps some honesty is in order, including explaining why the California Pro-Life Council endorsed John Cox and not you as an example of who the real Social Conservative is as well?

I will let my fellow democrat plant (Travis Allen’s words about his Republican opponents these days), Jon Fleischman sum it up:

Perhaps this is an intended consequence of Proposition 14 — Allen may feel that he can go out and make a case for Democrats to cross over and support him (I did check and Allen is running as a Republican).  I can certainly speak for myself, though, in saying that while I do not live in this district, if I did, I could not in good conscience vote for someone who thinks that elected and supporting these ultra-liberal politicians is a good idea.

Travis Allen has never been put to a serious test or through serious scrutiny before. Given how he is reacting to legitimate criticism of him, it is a clear indicator that he is unprepared for a hard-hitting governor’s race let alone the smash mouth politics and policy of actually being governor.

Nov 072017

So Doug Ose is toying with a run for governor. Like Travis Allen, he is pro-choice and soft on the immigration issue. Like Travis Allen, you’d assume he would be playing to the Trump base. Unlike Travis Allen, Doug Ose was actually a Trump delegate to the Republican National Convention. This will create a bizarre dynamic between the two fighting for the Trump remnant in California.

As a Congressman, Doug Ose’s record is one that would fit in well with the Cap and Trade Republicans who claim that environmental extremism is the key to the promised land for the GOP. When he was not voting against the unborn victims of violence act 5 times, Ose voted for things like Mohair Subsidies and in opposition to drilling for oil at least 4 separate times. He also voted against even modest spending cuts and consistently for increased environmental regulations.

Currently, there are 2 GOP Spoilers running: a marginal candidate named Staysi Barth who has not raised enough money to file electronically and Travis Allen whose ceiling is no more than $500k. While Ose could write himself a check for $3-$5 Million Dollards, (remember, he set fire to $7.8 Million in 2008 attempting to win CA04 over McClintock) why would he?

Democrat John Chiang has raised a ton of money. Gavin any-two-three-four-or-moresome Newsom is the presumptive front-runner with a bank vault (and subject of sexual harassment allegations like many democrat officeholders). Delaine Eastin will get a few votes and a few dollars, and the erstwhile Rico Suave candidate (no, not Travis Allen) Antonio Villariagosa has a lot of money to spend as well…

Right now, with two also ran Republicans, John Cox has a decent chance of making the top-two runoff because of the four democrats with resources. With Doug Ose and several million of his own coming in to the race, the odds of 2 democrats making the fall runoff become an almost certainty. This will doom Republicans to depressed turnout once again with no candidates for major office on the fall ballot. This dynamic will make it difficult to defend the few congress seats we still have in California, while complicating efforts to get back over the 1/3 threshold.

No one that looks at the math can draw any other conclusion that a serious Doug Ose for Governor Campaign has the effect of eliminating Republicans from Contention all together.

Meanwhile, the GOP has no candidate for Controller or Treasurer. #EPICFAIL
